Samuel Jablon (American, b.1986) is an artist and poet, born in Binghamton, NY. He moves between different methods of creating, practicing, and doing.
For Jablon, poetry is always in the background; his practice is rooted in the tension of words and materiality. Samuel was a featured artist in BOMB Magazine’s Spring 2014 issue. His past projects, readings, performances, and exhibitions have been presented at the MoMA, Socrates Sculpture Park, The Queens Museum of Art, The DUMBO Arts Festival, White Box, Show Room, Hunter College, Naropa University, The Howl Festival, Lodge Gallery, and the Center for Book Arts. He received and MFA from Brooklyn College, and a BA from Naropa University.
