THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT: SUNGAI WATCH: The second edition of The Future is Bright will raise funds for the Bali based non-profit Sungai Watch

'The Future is Bright' is born out of an inspiration to participate in something bigger than ourselves and support the art world community of which we are a part. After our first successful edition of The Future is Bright, Candid House Projects is thrilled to announce a new show, bringing you exciting new works by some of today's most up-and-coming contemporary artists.

For this second edition, we have the honour of partnering with Sungai Watch based in Bali, an absolutely incredible organisation fighting against ocean plastic pollution. The dedication of the Benchegib siblings, Gary, Kelly, and Sam, has inspired many, including CHP, to fundraise for this cause.

One remarkable example of their dedication is Sam's six-month journey running across America, from New York to Los Angeles (yes, running), wearing shoes made from ocean plastic. Since then, Sungai Watch has collected almost 1 million kilograms of plastic around Indonesia. They have also installed 177 river barriers preventing plastic from getting to the ocean, and organized over 350 community clean-ups - simply impressive!

At Candid House Projects, we believe that we should all play a part in making our world a better, cleaner and safer place for everyone. In the limit of our reach, we would like to continue promoting endeavours such as those undertaken by the founders of Sungai Watch and give our collectors an opportunity to give back while growing their art collections.

We are grateful to the amazing artists whose values have aligned with our vision. These artists have agreed for a portion of the show's sales to be donated to Sungai Watch in order to install additional river barriers around Indonesia.

Finally, thank you to all our collectors and friends, who have already shown incredible support of this endeavour.
